Clouds thicker than the smoke of fire
I don’t know what family means to you, but to me it’s like a big circle of light and darkness, of love and fights, of unity and division, of truth and lies, of warmth and coldness.
Family forms us for the better and for worse.
For me it began shortly after I was born, when my mom gat diagnosed with cancer. A few years later she passed away and I had to move on and live with it. There was no other way. One day takes the next and so on.
After finishing school, I started travelling. A half year here, and a half year there. A little bit of everywhere.
Constantly new places, because when you keep on going and experience new things, you don’t get stuck in the pain from the past, of the time at home where I was born.
I need my home to travel, and I travel to feel home.
The loss gave me the strenght of moving forward, even when the clouds were thicker than the smoke of a fire.
